LONDON. B.W.
Hong Kong and Shanghai.
My cliente, Joseph Crosfield & Sons Ltd. and William Gossage & Sons Limited, are about to register, in conjunction with Lever Brothers Limited, a Company having for its objects the erection of a Soap Works in Shanghai.
My clients desire to register the Company in Hong Kong if that course is possible and have requested me to inquire of you
(1) Whether a Company registered in Hong Kong can

operate in Shanghai without further registration,
and
If you can supply them, either on loan or for purchase, with a copy of the Ordinances of Hong Kong dealing with the registration of Companies.
I shall be much obliged if you can give me this information and, if possible, supply me with a copy of the Ordinances.
